Any fans?
Anyone who likes dark, brutal music would do well to check them out. Heavier and more disturbing than any metal band.
They started off being really noisy, with slow, relentless crushing chords and bellowed vocals. After a few albums they discovered melody and starting bringing some acoustic guitars and keyboards into the mix. Their early stuff is not going to be for everyone, and their later stuff is still mostly depressing as hell, even though it's melodic.
People should check out White Light From The Mouth of Infinity.
This is their idea of a ballad. Pay attention to the lyrics :cool:
