Oh my god. is this for real? How could she, or any woman, possibly have a voice that would suit Waits' songs? I'm not saying she couldn't pull it off but I'm very sceptical. I look forward to hearing this to see if its as bad as it sounds.

  • I'd like to hear her do "Never Talk to Strangers" with Bill Murray...
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.
  • I get the feeling that I'll be in the minority on this one....but I think she'll sound a hell of lot better than Tom Waits.

  • I wonder if she'll do 'What's he building?' :D
'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

I love Tom's voice. apparently scarlett has a good voice and she obviously has good taste given her choice of artist to cover here but I still can't imagine it working.
