  • I have been digging their latest album Strays. I also recommend that you check out Perry Ferrell's "Rev". It is awesome!
We need Pearl Jam in Atlanta!!! 2006-2007

The dirty south needs a fix.
  • get ritual de lo habitual first. its unbelievable. then get nothing shocking, which is great in its own right, but its no ritual.

I don't know them that well other than a couple songs. I love Jane Says and the others are just mediocre.
  • If you are just getting into them, REV is the way to go. Its a Perry Ferrell compilation. It has choice selections from Jane's Addiction & Porno For Pyros plus some bonus tracks and Bsides.

    My favorite Janes/Porno songs are:

    100 Ways
    Tahitian Moon
    3 Days
    Pets
    Sex is Voilent
    Tonight
    Standing in the Shower Thinking
    Stop
    Ocean Size

Ritual de lo Habitual is simply awesome, the best work they ever did.
But Nothing's Shocking has some of their most amazing tunes.
So, get them both at once, I think you won't be disapointed.

My last bump of a thread that's been aging for more than a decade, but I have to add that Jane's Addiction's "Live in NYC" is likely to be on my top ten "vinyl albums I've been listening to shitloads of times the last few years"-list.
