  • Starsailor, the album from which that's taken, is hard but not impossible to come by.


    I'd advise people to start their Tim collection with Dream Letter: Live in London 1968, then his studio album Happy Sad (1969). Goodbye and Hello (1967) features many of his best known songs, and Greetings from L.A. (1972) is downright dirrrrrrty. Some of his experimental stuff is hit and miss, for example Lorca (1970), and he could knock out some so-so releases, too. But on the whole, the man was legendary in his lifetime.
