Meat Puppets fans?

anyone a fan of this band? I think they were pretty revolutionary within the hardcore scene in the way they broke free of that style of music and followed their own brand of psychedelic cowpunk. they are certainly nothing like anything else SST out out in the 80s. What do you think is their best record? I'm going to go with Up on the sun but Meat Puppets II, Mirage and Huevos are all awesome. I haven't heard much of their 90s stuff. also, has anyone heard the new record?

    Like many people, my first exposure to them was Nirvana unplugged. and having liked the songs from that a lot, I got their second album. it's real good.
