I think he does a really good cover of it. But then again, i'm a huge Staind fan and my opinion is biased.

When I saw Staind a few months ago they did an excellent cover of Nutshell.

"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

I thought the thread title was a reference to a co-headlining tour with Aaron Lewis and Lewis Black!

Love the randomw bump and the coincidence... I was at my local last week standing outside smoking a j. A homeless guy drinking a 40 of 211 walks by singing Black. As a PJ superfreak and homeless advocate this was fate. I said something like "what up pearl jam" We get into this long conversation about Black, and PJ. He tells me about living in his car. It was a nice chat. An hour later he runs into the bar to find me. He has found this Staind cover of Black that he has to share with me because it is so fucking great. I listened to it and, he was right, it is great. This guy was having a religious experience listening to it, one of my favortie things to witness. Anyway, it was this performance that he shared. ...Twice in one week.

Aaron is going on tour in October if anyone is interested. I'll be catching him in Chicago and Milwaukee. He plays by himself and plays Staind stuff, solo stuff and a lot of random covers. Some of the stuff I have heard him play in addition to Black:

Release, Angry Chair, Nutshell, River of Deceit, Something in the Way, Piano Man, Patience, Sober, You Cant Always Get What You Want, the list could go on and on.

    Catch him if you can.
