So I had always new of their existance, heard this and that about them, caught videos half way through but never gave them my full attention.
Any ho, 120 metal minutes played the Prison Sex video the other week which got my intrest up, coupled with the amount of buzz and excitement around hear about the new album and people saying stuff like their the best band after PJ, I decided it was time.
Today I got Lateralus and Aenima.
I gave Lateralus a spin and WOW, I've been missing out a really good album some sweet songs Parabol/Parabola, Disposition, Reflection It's had quite the impact.
I shall give Aenima a spin later and see how it sounds:)
So far in the space of the last 6 months I have got into Tool, Jane's Addiction and Sonic Youth, all this music that I never got round to checking out when I was younger too busy with the grunge and stuff LOL oh well better late than never.:)
Can not be arsed with life no more.

At work today I am going to listen to all of their studio albums. I am on Undertow, "Bottom".

    Great band.

Thanks for the clip. It does not disappoint!

Tool does annoy me with all the mystery sometimes, mainly their website which is 95% worthless. But I have to give them credit on keeping the songs from the new album under wraps.

That has become aparent, amazing music, good vocals and from first listen it sounds like the sort of music that will grow better with each listen:D

I recently drove from FL to MI by myself and went through the Tool catalog in order. They made some incredible albums. I really hope that they release a new one in my lifetime.
