Yeah Death Of A Martian is the one song on this album I actually dont like, it seems(pardon the pun) to die.
Where as Wet Sand just builds beautifully to an excellent finish.
apparently it's aboot Flea's dog Martian who passed away.

Great song, one of many on the album that i love. Frusciante's work on this album is first class.

The guy in Wolfmother has impressed me a bit, with the little I have heard.
Chili Peppers are a good band. Not my cup of tea, and seemingly really repetitive(dunno if thats the right word). Alotta their songs have the same production qualities.
I havent heard much of John's solo, so if that makes a difference then.........
It's all subjective to taste but I'd throw Josh Homme and Troy Van Leuween up there too but for me McCready and Frusciante stand above all those not by a whole load but certainly by some.:)

Had time to let a few cobwebs settle, a little dust gather, and give the record a few more spins.
And my love for this song has grown even more:eek: from the passion through the build up and into the amazing conclusion with John's scream followed by intense solo this song just rocks my arse off:D
