...Pearl Jam, a group filled with pride, passion, and intricate musicianship. Their music is full of subtle textures, rich color, soul-searching power, imagery, and eerie dissonance.

Bakerton Group
Deftones (maybe)
Lamb Of God
Mastodon
Bruce Springsteen
But yeah, obviously PJ.
And I'm not gonna count out U2. Their new album "No Line on the Horizon" gets out 2/23. Supposedly influenced by trance/electronica according to an interview with Bono like 6 months ago. True, Bono has become a total douche and has somehow turned into a parody of himself in the past decade, but I'm still interested to see how their new album sounds. 1998's "Pop" is the most unreasonably hated-on album of all time, and I really loved how they were experimenting with a different sound at the time instead of just re-writing "The Joshua Tree" over and over again to please the masses.

Other new music I'm looking forward to: Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, and Marilyn Manson.
They are going to record their new album live at Levon Helm's barn in woodstock over four nights in February! All new material! All Amoricans are invited!
do you know if luther dickinson will still be with them? His work with them and with North Mississippi Allstars was some of my favorite this year, hope to hear some more.

You're not alone. AFI is great. "Decemberunderground" was a little too light/sing-songy, but if they make anything anywhere near as epic and badass as "Sing the Sorrow" we're all in for a treat!
Tool
APC
Live
Sevendust
Pearl Jam
Incubus
Jerry Cantrell band, refuse to call them AIC
NIN, Remix or a live album etc
Luther is still in the band. I'll be there to see this happen!!
