What's the most regretted PJ item you've traded/sold?

I'd say mine has to be my Benaroya vinyl. I bought it off E-bay for about $230.00 right after it came out then I ended up reselling it for about the same price to buy my ex a tiffanys ring. In the end I lost the Vinyl, (most important of course) :) the girlfriend, and the ring. Haha I can't help but laugh at my stupidity now.

I will never (barring extreme life and death financial circumstances) get rid of any PJ item, CDs, posters, shirts and an EV pick!!!! Never never never.

I had a mobile that I got for free from a record shop. It was an advertisement for Vitalogy and it had all of the various album artwork images as the hanging panels...truly a one of a kind.

I think I just gave it to someone because I was moving and did not know where to put it.

Eh. Don't beat yourself up about it, it's just stuff & you didn't know it would turn out like that.

I sold a bunch of my framed posters not too long ago because I was sitting at home thinking "you know, these are actually quite ugly." No regrets.

Not an item, but back in 1993 i was about 15 and already big into the band, but hadn't started going to live shows yet. I had a great chance to go to this one but passed it up.

Not that it was necessarily a great show...but would have loved to see the band in such a small arena at that stage in their careers.

I had Ten Club tickets when Pearl Jam came here in 2000 (Chicago). I was like 13 years old and in a rap / hiphop phase, so I didnt care much for Pearl Jam anymore. I gave my 2 tickets to my sister's friends. My sister ended up getting 2 front row center tickets, and my tickets were 4th row center. She ended up drinking wine from Eddie's bottle during Crazy Mary!!! This is one of my major regrets since I became a fan once again!!

I traded a mint DC 06 that my friend got as an extra at the show and traded it for a mint Borgata pink...this all started when i began my obsession with posters
now I could get Borgata pretty easily for half the price of what DC goes for...that's my biggest regret but the borgata will always be my prized possession now; it's the only PJ poster I have framed and I'll possibly get a tattoo of it

i've also learned never to buy your woman anything of value until she's at the altar. it's a wasted investment.

i kinda wish i'd not gotten rid of my 98 tour soccer jersey. but i never wore it. also sold all my fan club singles, cos i don't own a record player.
    and like that... he's gone.

Same with the other guy..... Sold my Banaroya Hall vinyl's when my boiler went down in late Feb early March of last year!!! I didn't learn till after I had already sold it that insurance would cover all but $500. On the 4th quote for replacing the guy says "you know, since the low water cutoff failed insurance would cover all but that part"

I needed heat but still regret selling it, been hoping to get one sort of beat up for around what I sold it for.

I had a copy of a VS cd that had no title - the first pressing before they decided on the title and purchased the first day it came out. I didn't really get rid of it - it was stolen by my ex-roomate (who sold it for crack -dumbass.)

If that's you're most regretted item, you can replace that easily :)

I've never sold anything. Never traded anything that I didn't have duplicates of. But I can't find my Yield bucket hat that I bought at a show in '98 :(

I had a 98 Hartford poster that I bought at the show. A pipe burst in an old apartment and destroyed it. I was bummed at the time, but not too upset...it was before these things became gold. Now I'm pissed that it will cost an arm and a leg to replace...

    My Freedom.

When I was 15 I got caught stealing Halucinogenic Recipe from a record store in Berkeley. I got arrested and my mom had to drive to Berkeley and pick me up. I was not supposed to be in Berekely anyways and definately was not supposed to be shoplifting. I straightened up my act after that...but I definately regret making that decision for my PJ obsession.

Funny story though...a buddy who works in the record store recently was in there and saw a picture on the wall that they took of me when I got arrested. This is over 13 years ago now. He posted the pic on my myspace. Got a real kick out of that.

I tracked down that picture of me after being arrested. Its so sad. I was so small and scrawny. Dumb kid. But still kinda smart back then...still loved PJ.

Yep. I was going to say...Hard times meant parting with these myself...fortunately the logic of burning copies of every show is helping to fill the emptiness on my shelf...
