1. Z - My Morning Jacket : By Faaaar, this album blew me away and changed my life, it renewed my fate in today's music and musicians!
2. Antics - Interpol : Never heard such an elegant rocking album.
3. Out Of Exile - Audioslave : Harbors some true classics in it, what a powerful rocking record, finally RATM and Soundgarden merged!
(ooh ooh... just saw it on the post above, "I'm wide awake and it's morning - bright eyes", honour mention to them, and to Spoon for Gimme Fiction, and to Franz Ferdinand on their last too, not top three only because I just got them, they need to warm up a bit more into me, but they're getting there.)

"A consistently good band works all the different elements well. A song has to appeal sentimentally, intellectually, physically, viscerally, and dig deep down into your soul and suck you into it. And after that, of course, it'd be a matter of taste." ~ Kim Thayil from Soundgarden

Illinois is a cool album....Chicago is a very catchy tune, though I haven't listened to it as much as I would of liked.
