Pre-Sale Advice...

On the day of the East Coast Pre-Sales... PLEASE... if you are NOT buying tickets... STAY OFF THE SERVER.
I'm on the West Coast and I am not remotely interested in going to these shows so, I am going to remain off of the board and the Ten Club Server til later that afternoon. This is to allow my East Coast bretheren and sisteren to use server resources they will need to avoid the same situation as the Ed solo shows.
No one needs you to check to see if or what's available. If they are interested in buying them... they are already there. And what would you say to the person that is in line in front of you at the box office who gets up to the window and just asks to see if there are tickets available (while the other windows are franticly selling tickets out theirs)? You'd call him a dick, right? Well, then... don't be that dick.
Please... be courteous and stay offline... go visit some other message board (Red mosquito)... or actually get some work done for your employer those days. and hopefully, our brothers and sisters will thank you when you are frantically trying to buy tickets for your hometown shows.

Right on, brethern! I'm on the east side and not going either... and wasn't planning on being on 10c's site at all.

    Good luck, my fellow fans!

visiting the message pit or any other pj page shouldn't affect what happens in the goods section.....

better advice... if you aren't getting tickets, stay out of goods....

Whilst I whole heartedly agree with you, seriously the band and the powers that be should really get the issue with servers sorted out once and for all. Either that, or as I suggested before, they should: have a registration period for tickets (about a week) whereby anyone who wants tickets can register their interest. Then names could be drawn at random, and a set period withing which they must pay, or they go back on sale. The reality is that it's pot luck whether you get tickets or not, so your chances probably wouldn't be any different either way.

Yeah... I know. Your suggestion is great... But, as of right now, nothing has been changed. And since you can only control what you can control... we can only do our part to help out. It would be nice to let our friends on the East Coast have a much of the server resources allocated to their needs... and I would feel the same way if it were for the South, Mid-West or other portions of the planet.
We cannot upgrade the services... but, we CAN make best with what we've got.
    ...
Good Luck to all of you planning on going... I hope you get the tickets you are shooting for.

Exactly....I hate the fuckers who put tickets in their cart just to see if they can get them. Then 900 people all panic at once because they get the dreaded temporarily out of stock message. I know I'm one of them and i get so angry.

Great advice, but based on today's insanity, people will be pricks and people will purposely jam the server because that's how people are. This is not generalizing, this is fact based on what I have observed time and time and time again on here.
