    Good taste there.

Someone mentioned the new Lemonheads? I haven't heard it yet, can't find a torrent, or couldn't up untill last night, will have to keep searching.

    Anyway -

Matter of life and death - Iron Maiden
    Flock - Belle x1
    greatest hits of The Jam
    bubblegum - Mark Lanegan

Um, can't think of anything else I got recently, so besides them all the usual old stuff.

Agreed, I forgot to mention this one, add that to my list along with his own solo album then. Deus Ibi Est is a cool mo'fo' of a song.

The world is like a ride in an amusement park, and when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. The ride goes up and down, around and around, it has thrills and chills, and it's very brightly colored, and it's very loud, and it's fun for a while. Many people have been on the ride a long time, and they begin to wonder, "Hey, is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us and say, "Hey, don't worry; don't be afraid, ever. Because this is just a ride." And we...kill those people. "Shut him up! I've got a lot invested in this ride, shut him up! Look at my furrows of worry, look at my big bank account, and my family. This has to be real." It's just a ride. But we always kill the good guys who try and tell us that, you ever notice that? And let the demons run amok? But it doesn't matter, because it's just a ride. And we can change it any time we want. It's only a choice. No effort, no work, no job, no savings of money. Just a simple choice, right now, between fear and love. The eyes of fear want you to put bigger locks on your doors, buy guns, close yourself off. The eyes of love instead see all of us as one. Here's what we can do to change the world, right now, to a better ride. Take all that money we spend on weapons and defenses each year and instead spend it feeding and clothing and educating the poor of the world, which it would pay for many times over, not one human being excluded, and we could explore space, together, both inner and outer, forever, in peace.

    Well today i purchased:
    mastodon- blood mountain
    mars volta-amputechure

And i wanted to get tv on the radio's return to cookie mountain and yo la tengo's new one, but the new mastodon is so fucking good i'm going ot hold off on the others untill i truely digest the mastodon album. It is truely kicking my ass.

I picked up TV on the Radio and Mars Volta on that Tuesday. So far I like Amputechture a lot, about on par with Frances the Mute for favorite Volta album. Still digesting that one. As for Return to Cookie Mountain, lot's of digestion needed for this as well. I really love Wolf Like Me, one of the best songs of the year. I was just a little disappointed initially because there were really no other songs like it. It truly is a unique CD and I'll probably end up liking it more than I do now. Another CD rocking my world is Riverside's Out of Myself.

I'm finally starting to slip the mars volta album in for a few spins between blood mountain. I am digging it. I'm happy they got rid of all the 10 minutes of silence crap they had on frances.

Wolf like me is the stand out track off cookie mountain. I've only listened to it twice i have a feeling it will grow on me. their last album i loved starring at the sun and eventually the rest of the album grew on me so i assume this one will be the same.
