Ahhhh... I bought Heart's Greatest Hits last night and rocked out like only a ten year old can :D

I was just short of backcombing my hair and taking the hairbrush to the mirror :D but there's always tonight for that, lol.

Hearts Greatest Hits... wow, with only 2 hits they could have put it out on cassingle.. ;)
oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

:D It's strange, I thought I only knew 'these dreams', 'alone' and 'all I wanna do is make love to you' :D but there's at least 4 or 5 more that I know the chorus to :D kinda in a fleetwood 'I never knew THEY sang that' Mac sorta way :)

Have you heard Celine Dion's cover of Alone? It's vile.
"I remember one night at Muzdalifa with nothing but the sky overhead, I lay awake amid sleeping Muslim brothers and I learned that pilgrims from every land — every colour, and class, and rank; high officials and the beggar alike — all snored in the same language"

  • Ann Wilson is one of the best singers rock has ever seen. I've seen her and Nancy in concert and they're amazing. They do the best Zeppelin covers I've ever heard.

I'd LOVE to see Heart in concert. They were kinda my band before PJ came along... well as much as a 10 year old can HAVE a band... back in the day where owning albums were a rarity :o

she really has a fantastic voice... I like Nancy's voice too.

Excellent. I bought that a few years back after seeing their Behind the Music episode on VH1. Those ladies are so cool. Towards the end there's the song, How Can I Refuse, I totally forgot about that one...sorta like an Eddie Money pop-rock song!!! When you say nostalgia, that one does it for me... :D

Unfortunately she did. I heard it on the radio and was like

I like the original... in a kind of embarrassed guilty pleasure way. I can't be the only one who thinks that Ann Wilson was the better looking one either? surely? :)

hmm... well, they had some fashion disasters in the 80s.

Here however, she is gorgeous. Very Led Zep... except I kinda prefer her to Plant :p

I remember when cds came out, my gf and I were wondering what to call a cd single...cdingle just reminded us of dingleberries.

I remember singing out loud to Heart with my friends and using the Ouija board.
