I saw why I didn't want to stand close at Lolla. I started out 10 rows back and wound up right in front of the center of the stage at Central Park's Summerstage for the Beastie Boys concert. Despite all the jumping around and poor moshing attempts by those around me, it was a fairly kick-ass show tonight.

I saw them Sunday night at the Opera House in Boston. First Beasties show ever and I would go again for sure. I lucked into great seats too

about 90 minutes..

I was there.
Much better than I expected and a great mix of songs.

came on around 8:10 and finished at 9:40
no opener

they still have the pipes and Ad rock looks exactly the same as he did in 1994

they should stick to the rap tunes though, everytime the place got jacked up, they busted out a slow instrumental to cool everyone off

and it was effing hot
