Great triple-bill at the Hollywood Bowl last night. Spritualized really lived up to their name...it was like gospel music at times. If Sigur Ros is a bit too mellow for you, step up to Spiritualized!
Nick Cave is such a great performer. His dark and morbid lyrics really have extra meaning when you see them come out of his mouth. He is the personification of evil.
Has anyone seen a current photo of Nick Cave? If they ever make a movie about him, Kevin Dillion (Johnny Drama for "Entourage") would be perfect, since they look so much alike (except for the long hair!).
The crowd was a continuous freak show...Nick Cave really draws some certifiable loonies...in a good way!
