radiohead b-sides

Seriously, some of their b-sides deserve to be on the albums themselves. some bands would kill for such good songs on the studio albums -- it's a testament to how talented this band is. like Polyethylene for instance, an ok computer b-side:

Then I found 'Cuttooth,' an Amnesiac b-side that i didn't even know about, that is extremely catchy, but definitely didn't fit in with the album because of its different nature:

Some of their early b-sides were fanstastic, even the Pablo Honey stuff. Post-OK Computer their b-side quality dropped off a bit, probably because they spent so much more time in the studio trying to perfect everything, but "Cuttooth" is definitely a good one. The second disc of In Rainbows would probably qualify as b-sides and there are a few good tracks on that, notably "Go Slowly" and "Bangers and Mash"
  • I agree with the In Rainbows bonus disc. Down Is The New Up and 4 Minute Warning are awesome as well. I don't know if it qualifies as a b-side but I LOVE Talk Show Host.

I cant wait to see Radiohead in August with my girl.

Palo alto, pearly, and meeting in the aisle from OKC era are great ones (and as already mentioned talk show host too).

Other great ones to check out: fog (especially the live version from the com lag EP), and while we're on that EP 'i am a wicked child' & 'gagging order' are great. live versions of 'true love waits' and 'follow me around' are floating around everywhere (ie i might be wrong live album, live & acoustic on KROQ) and are impossible to resist acoustic thom moments.

I have a good collection of their b-sides and yes you can find a whole bunch of them that are worth giving a listen to. Apart from the live and remix versions and In Rainbows Bonus and Com Lag Ep, there are some cool songs like Coke Babies, Cuttooth, Killer Cars, Maquiladora, Million Dollar Question, Talk Show Host, etc

when you buy the lp version of in rainbows there's a bonus cd in there with 8 songs. it's a package that has 2-lps of the in rainbows album, the cd for in rainbows & the bonus disk 2. I'm a huge fan so I bought this when the album was announced, it cost around $80, but if you're a huge fan it's worth it I guess. Some good tunes on the 2nd disk, the only frustrating thing was that the last single they released there was 2 of the songs on there so I'm starting to wonder if they release 2 more singles are the rest of the tracks going to be on there too? If so that's kind of cruddy for those of us who felt that we got a nice rarity, but oh well.

from what I understand, it was a limited addition cd set only sold on their website. I forget how many were produced, but apparently once they were gone they weren't making anymore. It was about $80 & a lot of people skipped the opportunity & downloaded the first disc for free.

It's a lot of money, but it came with a really nice booklet with all the lyrics & I guess it will eventually be a collector's item.

They have many amazing b-sides. Gagging Order is one of the best songs ever.
