I would like to thank Pearl Jam for staying together and for being a consistent backdrop throughout my life.

PJ has been with me from 7th grade through my Ph.D. They were with me through every girl I've ever been with, including my wife. They were there when I had my first beer. They were the influence that got me to pick up the guitar. They were with me when I agreed with them politically, when I didn't and now when I currently don't agree with anyone at all.... yet, they're still here.

People like these gents don't come around too often. I just listened to rearviewmirror and got chills. What band gives you chills?

    so tru. even tho i have just recently i have gotten into a more broad range of there music i listened to ten and some other mainstream songs since my freshman year in high school and they got me thru it and made some hard times easier. as they r doing for me now in college. thanx
