Any other fans out there? Saw them at the Hampton Beach Casino in NH in 2003 before their hiatus. They put on a great show- full of raw energy. Their last album, A Jackknife to a Swan was also probably their best. Everybody's Better my favorite song off of it. IMO probably the best ska band out there.

    My then girlfriend now wife got Dickey Barrett punched in the face by a drunk in Richmond in '03. Basically the drunk was pushing her around, and Dickey stopped the show and told him to pick on somebody his own size, so he jumped on the stage and swung and connected. The guy was taken off and the band was cool about it. From how divergent they all are now, I wouldn't be surprised if they've done thier last stuff and may only come back for some one-offs. I would love it if they brought back the Hometown Throwdown however.

    one of the most fun live acts you would ever want to see;

    they used to make sure to play places that allowed stage diving, and overall ruckous

    I must have seen them 15 times, I miss em

    and btw, when it comes to albums, nothing beats More Noise and Other Disturbances
    "Stunned by my own reflection, It's looking back, sees me too clearly and I swore I'd never go there again, Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down,down,down"

    When you see me on the street, yell out "FAVO!!!"

    I've been to alot of Pearl Jam shows;So fucking what.

    I am a big fan of their sort of middle period stuff, Don't know how to party, and Question the Answers. But they had a lot of great songs throughout their career. Great shows too.
