I'm becoming a concert junkie

Just saw the White Stripes at Agannis Arena in Boston last week, and just bought tix to three shows in the past two weeks, all of which are in October. Dr. Dog/Apollo Sunshine at the Paradise, Smashing Pumpkins, and Queens of the Stone Age, both at the Orpheum. I'd usually go three shows tops per YEAR, nevermind all the concert activity as of late. I guess getting a job after college plays into part of it, with the income available. I guess it's also just one of my big passions. What's your summer/fall lookin like?

    I'm leaving for V-Fest in Baltimore tomorrow. Auugust 10 heading to DMB and I'm seeing the Pumpkins in October. Oh yea my Dad also asked me last night if I wanted to go to Florida in December to see Jethro Tull so I may do that as well.

    You should hit up the Beasties at the Opera House.

    I tried gettin tix for their fleet boston pavillion show, but only seats were in the very back of the place....and didn't want to fork over the money for that (and this was through the pre-sale, mind you).

    HA!! i'm a member of the Oink so i all my music money goes to live concerts. Check out the Police and Van Halen reunions. I'm gonna wait until i hear some Pumpkins setlists before i commit to them. I'm seeing the 311 in a couple weeks and i hope they don't get weird. Bands make 90% of their money nowadays touring so if you're gonna support them, go see them live, the band will like it and so will you.
