Did pearl jam cover Ram Jam's Black betty?

My girlfriend is downloading pearl jam ringtones to her iphone and stumbled across black betty covered by pearl jam. It definitely isn't the original and it really does sound like eddie. Did they cover it.?

    I doubt it, but didn't some band like 2 yrs ago cover it?

    sometimes people will put down the wrong band if they think they know who they are. i'd download music all the time before they decided it was illegal and get songs like pearl jam-lithium and i'll be like WOAH SINCE WHEN DID PEARL JAM COVER LITHIUM!?
