Just wanted to know if anyone was digging The Stone. And if they are looking forward to seeing them live this summer.

Personally i'm loving The Stone !
Can't wait to hear more .

    That's too weird, I just came here to make a thread about this band! For those who don't know, this is the new project from Billy Howerdel, the guitarist from A Perfect Circle. The Stone is a great song.

    i have been checking torrent sites about 10 times a day for this album leak. i can't wait. i am fucking obsessed with A Perfect Circle, and the 3 Ashes Divide songs i have are fucking amazing.

    The Stone, Enemies (what of it is on the myspace page anyway), and Defamed (which was floating around under it's previous title "Change")

    Yeah i love the snippit of Enemies......right at the end of it where it fades off gives me chills , cause i'm dying to know where it goes from there :-)

    I haven't found the other song yet , but i'll take a look.....thanks!

    once i stopped comparing him to maynard, it was alright.

    i like Ashes Divide more than Puscifer.

    The Stone is currently my favourite song. I was going to create an Ashes Divide topic earlier this week.

    I don't know much about them, but I do look forward to seeing them along-side Chris Cornell on the Projekt Revolution tour. I saw APC once and they were awesome.

    As a huge APC fan, I'm really dissapointed by this album. I just can't get into Billy's vocals, and the lyrics are something I would expect from someone in their late teens. For Billy's sake, I hope APC reforms in the near future. He's just not a very good band frontman. I probably would've enjoyed Emotive a lot more if Billy didn't sing on those 3 songs. Yikes.

    agreed. this album is good from start to finish. every song including the loner remix of denial waits is just sick.


    Really like Too Late and the Prey.

    They played LA on nov 4th I think, but that was their last show as far as I know. Can't wait for a west coast tour.

    Rumor is that they "broke up"

    Which is odd considering it's really just one dude.

    But with Maynard available at the moment and claiming a new Tool album is a long way off, and Josh leaving NIN.....i am wondering if APC is reconvening.

    Paz isn't doing much. Danny Lohner (who happens to be somewhat of an official member) is free. James Iha is free.

    It could easily be a thing.

    Damn as much as I like APC I think I would rather see another AD album. I got to see tool and APC live, have been waiting for my chance to see Ashes.
