So what can ya'll tell me about her, good or bad?

Saw Juno, loved the soundtrack, downloaded it.
Got a KD cd just today that I can't listen to till later.
And I see she's touring at the minute including a stopover in Dublin.
Worth seeing?

I started a Kimya Dawson thread way back and got no replies :o

She's awesome... Remember that I love you is my favourite album.. I hope she gets more recognition thanks to Juno... :D:D

  • woo!

Kimya Dawson is great stuff, like Sarah said, 'remember that I love you' is her best work imo :D
Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...

... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.

My sis picked up "I'm sorry that sometimes I'm mean".
It was the only one the shop had.
I'll try "Remember.." next then if I like this one.

    Cheers.

  • She is pretty ok. The novelty wore off quickly for me.

Thats a shame. Personally, the more I hear her the more I love her and I got rather excited when 'Loose lips' was played over the end credit of Juno.

ehhhh... each to their own :)
