Has anyone here been priviledged enough to hear Refused.
Swedish rock legends. Their last album is one of my faves and I think they never reached enough people.
'The Shape of Punk to Come' is a classic rock album!
Anyone else here own it or even heard of them?
I had it all once I gave it back

the shape of things to come is a classic.

pick up songs to fan the flames of discontent. also if you can watch refused are fucking dead.

if you like refused you might want to check out the international noise conspiracy, dennis' post refused band.

i'd rather be dead that alive by your oppression
i'd rather be dead than alive by your design
    poisoned my fingers
    burned out my eyes
cut my throat to be alive
i'd rather be dead than alive by your social values
i'd rather be dead than alive by your tradition
    but i'd rather be alive...

huh, perhaps I will revisit the Shape of Punk to Come. I remember being excited about listening to it and then pissed off when I thought it was borderline horrible.

time to wipe the dust off.

I tried to download it since i heard "New Noise"...for months but there were not enough seeders in the torrents. Finally i could hear it completely since i felt very curious about the other tracks. It's one of those albums no one knows about but that everyone should listen at least once (if you are into that kind of music).
