I've downloaded many songs from different bands after reading music literature and visiting different forums. Some great bands that you should give a listen:

-Death Cab For Cutie
-Metric
-Kings Of Leon
-The Strokes new album rocks
-Hellacopters
-Turin Brakes
-Arcade Fire
-Stone Roses
-Soundtrack Of Our Lives
-Nada Surf
-Sammy
-King Missile
-Built To Spill

Some old and new bands, but if you haven't heard much of some of these bands music DL!!

    I heard Death Cab's single ("soul meets body" i believe) and loved it but when i listened to plans the rest didnt impress me.
    I've faced it, a life wasted, and I'm never going back again.

    Some die just to live.

    You can probably do without the Kings Of Leon, the Strokes, and the new DCFC and Metric.

    Beyond that, great list. Built To Spill rules
