Heres 5 about Tool

1. Bassist Justin Chancellor's wife is the sister of Kristey Alley

2. Drummer Danny Carey is the great grandson of occult anti-hero Allister Crowley

3. Guitarist Adam Jones used to be an illustrator on the Simpsons

4. Maynard James Keenan used to be a marine

5. Keenan sang backing vocals on the comedy hit "three little pigs" by 90s joke artist Green Jelly

    You know this thread has really opened my eyes that I can only recall intimate details about one band...Pearl jam.

    I'm not sure how I feel about that...

    Danny Carey is the great grandson of Aleister Crowley? wonder what thats like :D incidentally, Crowley was born in Leamington Spa, a small english town where I was born and raised so I was born in the same town as "The most evil man of the 20th century"

    I know two things about Tom Morello that made me gawk:

    His father is the first Kenyan ambassador to the United Nations.

    His great-uncle is the first Kenyan President.
