Does anyone have any information on this? I was really looking forward to seeing them at Leeds festival this Summer. I'm hoping that everyone in the band are ok.

  • Yeah, have to say I'm a bit worried too, and slightly annoyed of the lack of information that has been given out.

Their site has been a bit shit since they moved labels, their official forum doesn't work, and Audioslaved.com has been down for ages, so there is no way for me to get any information :(

I hope I'm just worrying about nothing, but there is usually a reason for cancelling a whole leg of a tour...
  • Yup its true, although there's not a lotta information.

They've just finished making a new album, I very much doubt it.
According to Tom Morrello in Rolling Stone interview last month the album is recorded, and they are very happy together as a band.
As for Reading and Leeds they were about 1 of maybe 7 good bands on the line up i saw so that's a shame.

That sucks for people hoping to see them at Reading/Leeds, but a full tour was never announced afaik. So it's really only those dates that have been cancelled.

Why would they state that their European tour is cancelled. Two festival dates doesn't constitute a tour.

true, "the A campingflight to Lowlands paradise"- festival (in brief LOWLANDS) announced that audioslave canceled the european tour so they also won't play @ the Lowlands festival in the Netherlands. They were also booked for the Belgian Pukkelpop festival.

OK so they're not as good as SG or RATM but they're still a great band. I saw them at Brixton last year and it was fantastic. Cornell can be a little off with vocals but they still put on a great show....
