I was out at a college ball last night and the DJ was playing a lot of cheesy old-skool disco from the 70s, 80s and early 90s. Blame it on the Boogie, Oh what a night, Don't you want me, Mr Vain, rhythm is a dancer are but a few of the classics that got us all jumping. Made me realise just how awesome pop music can be. All that was missing was Cotton Eye Joe :D You know you love it too. Lets hear it for Disco baby!

Ah you're no fun. I challenge anyone to sit still while the Jackson 5 are playing.

    Good music is good music

Disco is an easy target and I do think most of it is trash, but there were some great records to come out of it

old Bee Gees or Chic records to name a few

and I certainly like dancy rock ie Dismemberment Plan, Radio 4, and certain Modest Mouse songs (Tundra/Desert, Doin The Cockroach)
They certainly take a bit of cue from disco rhythyms.
"Stunned by my own reflection, It's looking back, sees me too clearly and I swore I'd never go there again, Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down, down, down"

When you see me on the street, yell out "FAVO!!!"

I've been to alot of Pearl Jam shows; So fucking what.

I love MJ and jackson 5! Does Stevie Wonder count cause I love him too!
However, Cotton eye Joe makes me want to die.
