The Harvest of Hope Foundation, which Against Me! is proud to support, is currently seeking donations towards the cost of a life-saving bone marrow transplant for 6-year old Diana Olalde of Tifton, Georgia. Diana was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in May 2006 and was treated with chemotherapy, but then suffered a relapse in August this year. Her doctors are now saying that she must have a bone marrow transplant within a month, but the approximate cost of such a transplant can cost $500,000 or more.

Diana’s family is unable to contemplate affording such a transplant, so any amount that anyone can generously donate would be, needless to say, immensely appreciated. Any donations are also tax-deductible.

For more information on Diana and her condition please feel free to visit: http://www.myspace.com/olalde2007. And if you can help Diana in any way, big or small, please send a check or money order—indicating on your donation that it is for Diana Olalde—to:

The Harvest of Hope Foundation (http://www.harvestofhope.net) was established in 1997 as a non-profit organization to provide emergency and educational financial aid to former and current migrant farm workers and their families. Since its establishment, Harvest of Hope has distributed close to $600,000 for critical car repairs, medical services, utilities, food, clothing, funeral expenses and scholarships to children of migrant farm workers who wish to attend college.
Things change. They wont change unless you make them. The best way to change something you don't like, is to change yourself. So if you feel like you have a piece of duct tape on your mouth and you can't escape, take it off, speak up, speak your mind, shout it out, let 'em hear ya! -EV
