One DBT thread drops off, another one starts...

This must mean that Easy on Yourself is going to be the first single off of Blessing and a Curse? This is an official E-card from the label...

Pretty kick ass song... so I've heard Isbell's two songs on the record now (Daylight is amazing)... I can't wait for this disc AND Isbell's solo disc too...

Lots of great new music in the coming months...

6 days from now, right about this time, I will be... er... preparing? to go see the truckers at the Culture Room in Ft. Lauderdale.

    I cannot fucking wait.

This one rocked hard in Nashville last weekend. Most of my DBT friends are hight on Cooley & Patterson, I think Jason is the best of the bunch ......

It's funny, I've been kicking around over on Ninebullets.org a bit, and people seem to think Isbell's two songs, Daylight and Easy on Yourself are weak... I couldn't disagree more... I think his solo disc is gonna take the cake...

Today is a pretty cool day, I'm rotating WWS with the few new DBT songs I've come across... inspiring shit all around...

I just think most people on the DBT scene are pro-Cooley & Hood, which is true they are DBT.

I have been saying from the get-go that Jason could go off solo, and not make a fortune, but turn it into a nice career.

Jason is so diverse though, he can go alt-country or write a really cool rock track like Easy on Yourself. First couple of listens to EOY I thought damn thats Blue Oyster Cult ...... with better lyrics ... kinda cool though!!!!

Nice track. That picture of Isbells pretty funny though, that hair looks like he's ready for a school picture. And EZ-B is getting a beard for the ages.

These guys are all equally talented. None of Isbells tracks that I've heard yet have been weak. He's got a voice that belies his age for sure.
"You're no help," he told the lime. This was unfair. It was only a lime; there was nothing special about it at all. It was doing the best it could.

All this tour talk has made me take my eye off the ball. They played Wednesday in Nashville.

    Thanks man.
