Help with song lyric: "Here comes my bus"

I was in a bookstore today and a blues/R&B CD was playing - a few of the songs really caught my ear but I forgot to ask the cashier who the artist was.
The song that I remember most of the lyrics to was a song that had the singer repeating things about a bus: I missed the bus, Here comes my bus, I have a date, need to get downtown, etc. etc. etc.
Anyone???? Tried googling those lyrics and I can't find it...
