For those out of the loop - burden brothers are fronted by the former lead singer of The Toadies... their debut disc was pretty fun - hopefully this follow-up will be too...

Hey, Nice to see another BB fan on here!! These guys don't get much love here. I am excited too. I heard one song at the St Pattricks fest Toadies show, and it sounded great. Can't wait to see the Burden Brothers again. It's kinda of funny how they are unleashing the new Burden stuff, right after the Toadies finish their edgefest set!! I think this band would get more love if people figured out that Vaden Todd Lewis of Toadies is the lead singer of this brilliant new rock band.

When and where are they releasing it? On the actual BB website or their myspace page? I have not seen anything and it is way past six, but I recieved the same myspace bulletin that you did... just wonder why they have not put it up.

My guess is that all the band members were at Edgefest watching the Toadies gig. (They were all present at the st. Pattricks parade show too, and Taz even hopped on stage to play percussion on I burn). It will probably be up later tonight through their myspace page, since we got the bulletin from that. I cannot wait for some more shows. Are you from Texas? and how many times have you seen them?

    Hey,

Just got a blog leading me to their myspace page. The song is called shine, and it's a rocker. I'm liking it.

Haven't seen them yet - but was a big Toadies fan back in the 90s and loved the first disc from BB... with "Conditional" being my favorite song...

The song - "SHINE" - is up noe on MySpace - not a bad song - but it almost shares the opening riff with a classic rock song... and I can't for the life of me think of that song right now... but the riff made me think it was a cover at the beginning, but then they mix it up a bit...

Not bad - will listen to it a few more times before I make an official judgement. But I'll get the new CD - no doubt about it...
  • Two excellent new songs from the upcoming album now on their MySpace site...

STILL is great, and the new single EVERYBODY IS EASY is alright too...

I just saw the warm up shows in Denton and the Gypsy Tea room in Dallas. Man did those shows kick ass! I left a blog here http://www.myspace.com/KEBPJFAN. I think if more people knew that Vaden Todd from the Toadies is their lead singer people would stick to this band like glue. For those wondering where Todd went, they need to check this band out. Anyone feel free to add themselves as a friend. :D
