I always stay at the residence inn, Cherry Hill, NJ. I just found out they are booked I always use this hotel since 2000.....now what do I do? I called a few others close to that but they are booked too. Anybody have any idea's around Cherry hill, or around that area? Please let me know....link me or something. The only reason I say Cherry hill because I am kinda familiar with the area, although I did get lost last time. I also don't want to spend an arm and a leg.
Thanks

  • I think he is looking for a hotel for the Camden shows. Cherry Hill is South Jersey. You can try the Holiday Inn in Cherry Hill. Not a bad place to stay if you are in a fix.

  • I would priceline Philly if you are indeed talking about the Camden show...

A couple of days ago I got a room at the Westin Philly (4 star priceline, normally $300/night) for $100/night

Is the Comfort Inn at Penn's Landing all booked? We've stayed there before for Camden shows and take the ferry over.

Try this site. Only issue is the rates are pre-paid and non-refundable.

You select the city and date(s) you want

then select the area (Downtown Philly is your closest bet)

Then you select the level of hotel you want (4 star, 3 star, etc)

Then you bid an amount on the hotel

If you are denied you have to wait 24 hours to rebid for the same level, but if you change levels you can rebid immediately

So I usu start at 4 star and then work down to 3 if I need to rebid

I started off with 4 star downtown Philly and bid 100 and it was accepted
  • and do they then tell you what hotel it is?

    Yes

You don't know the specific hotel until you bid and it is accepted, but if you're bidding on a 4 star in downtown, you're not going to get a Motel 6

Some risk involved, but as stated above, I got a room at a nice hotel for about 1/3 of the cost of a normal room there and 1/2 the cost I was going to pay at just a regular old Holiday Inn in the Historic District
  • walking distance to the ferrY?

Down philly is a relatively small place...

You could be a couple of miles away, but that's about it

Quick cab ride/not the worst walk in the world

Plus the public transportation is an option

Like I said, there is some risk regarding hotel choice and/or location, but the price is right

If you're not that budget conscious, this place (http://www.ichotelsgroup.com/h/d/hi/1/en/hotel/phlim?_requestid=375957)

the Holiday inn I spoke of earlier sill has rooms, I believe, for like $210 a night

and it's refundable and walking distance to Penn's Landing

I booked there first and then took a chance with priceline, telling myself I wouldn't go above 100/night with PL

Up to you, 'm just providing info

DOn't want you to get stuck in a hotel or location you're unhappy with

There's a Best Western in the Art Museum area of Philly that is pretty inexpensive and not usually full. It's not that far from the bridge that gets you to Camden either.
