yup... my 2nd time seeing them in GA..

saw them in 1999 at the spectrum in philly...we just hung in the back near the board, till they started freedom, then the ppl in the seats starting lifting up the seats and passing them down to the floor.. i'm scared to see how this show plays out

I hear that - it cost me $33.85 in fees to get 2 tics, for the Police in June - $14.50 a tic. plus a 5 dollar "processing" fee to mail them to me! They are pigs, I tell ya.....What "processing"? I was on the Internet for an hour typing in that stupid code over & over again & doing the work myself........

Ticket prices are ridiculous..even if the band tries to keep the base price low..you still end up paying a lot. I use to go to so many shows but lately Ive been going to maybe one every 6 months if that.

Same here - there are so many shows we'd like to go to, but we can't afford it! PJ is the only concert we went to last year....
  • Yeah service charges are bullshit but there's not to much we can do about it. Actualy I don't think theres realy anything we can do about it

I just looked up what I paid for 2 shows for The Police.

These are just the fees for the shows.

    Convenience Charge US $14.50 x 2 = $29
    Delivery (TicketFast Delivery) US $2.50
    Order Processing Fee US $4.85
    Subtotal - $36.35

    Convenience Charge US $21.35 x 2 = $42.70
    Delivery (TicketFast Delivery) US $2.50
    Order Processing Fee US $5.05
    Subtotal - $50.25

    TOTAL - $86.60 :(

Same here. I used to go see every band that I had even the slightest interest in. Now there's only a tiny handful of bands that I'd even consider going to see. Last year, Pearl Jam was the only band I saw, except for a couple of indie shows since those are still cheap.

yep..Im very selective now...I think PJ is one of the few I'd shell out the dough for.

    Damn

I wanted to see them, but not bad enough to pay what they and Ticketfuckers were asking.

I like that I can go see PJ or an indie show without shelling out a bunch of money for Ticketbastard's wonderful "service." Anytime I can bypass them, there's a much greater chance I'll go to a show.

Well I've always said since 1984 that if they ever do tour again I will pay whatever is necessary. And I haven't tried for the third show they've added here in LA. :o

    I completely agree....
  • like someone said before...im seeing Rage that's all that matters

I'm 17 years old, RATM is one of my top 5 bands ever, and I thought I would never see them ever! I would gladly pay double but that's the most bullshitted thing on the internet today

I remember I went to see The Who and I didn't pay for them but the service charge for each ticket was something like 21$
