    any word on tickets?

    Nothing.

figures. if i had heard any sort of official confirmation as of yesterday morning, i probably wouldn't have bought reading tickets. oh well...

i'll end up passing on sayreville and atlantic city. we'll see what happens with the electric factory...

i have a feeling that the beacon and electric factory shows will be epic (and extremely difficult to get tickets to).

Sounds awesome, I saw him there about 6 years ago or so during his last solo tour.

How come a few months ago Cornell was selling out before the tickets went on sale, but now 51 minutes later I can still get 6 tickets in the Orchestra section? Granted, its a bigger venue, it's still odd to me.

  • I got an extra pair in Orchestra "Right" row O

Before about 15 minutes after they went on sale...all you could get was Upper Balc...now you can get Orchestra

I was at the show to Irving, that was amazing :D

Awesome venue. One of my favs. Intimate, though not small by any means. Great acoustics, clean, just a great place for a show.

After the new renovations I'm almost postive it will never be the same as it was, unfortunatley. Hopefully the old spirit remains in tact, cause that is/was one on NYC's friendliest venues, at least it was pre new owners/renovations.

There are still great seats and I was just looking for the hell of it, thought they would be gone by now, but got two for 8/1 Row U Orch right of center, closest to center as possible without being in the middle section anyway. I have about three people who would want to see this show and none are available to ask at the moment...who shall it be?
I have never been to the Beacon before, do these seats suck?
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

Beacon Theatre is one of my favorite venues in NYC, I saw Plant there and since then it has always been a favorite...you will fall in love with it.

Whoa renovations? When did this happen? I saw a show there 10 years ago and it was awesome. Any structural reason for this?

Row U seems pretty far back, but hey, I'm glad I even got a seat!

It looks like they are now filling in the wings in the Orch. Better to be closer to center than up a few rows I think.

Has CC been selling any posters at his shows?
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!
  • i went for the $40 seats and got row A of the lower balcony for both nights...
