    thanks for this.

will be at the KC show for sho'!
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green

    no shit.

a string of small venues would be so excellent.

    could PJ do that?

Of coure they could, they just don't need to, or feel the need to. Let's just hope this year sees more than these 13 or 14 shows or whatever, wherever, whoever gets them, let's hope they get the touring bug again :)

They are actually playing in Addison on May 10. It is just not part of that tour proper.

Taste of Addison. They are they headliner. $10. They go on at 10:30 PM.

And the tour announcement says "more dates to come soon" so I am sure there will be some here. They come to Dallas often.

The Crowes tour and tour and tour, they'll eventually hit every major city in the US and most small cities as well. I wouldn't be surprised for them to tour well into '09 for Warpaint.

Oh, and they are also playing a casino in Thackerville, OK on May 9, which is right on the Texas border north of Denton, so I wouldn't say they dissed Texas really. They just played Dallas and Ft. Worth last fall.

Yep, I'm not a die-hard fan of the Crowes but I have Shake Your Money Maker and Southern Harmony, and I love Southern Harmony. I've been wanting to pick up Warpaint too but I haven't gotten around to it yet.

If I get tickets I'll need to get myself more educated.

  • Very kind of the Crowes to play a 3 night run in Charlotte/Raleigh. Both Charlotte dates are an evening with the BC (no warm-up band). Hopefully will catch Feathers for the first time. Hopefully, the 2 1/2 hour show in London is a good sign for extended sets in the U.S.
