Ok, my turn.
If i am not wrong, they are a duo from Arizona who makes this 'pop underground' or 'indie pop' or whatever, and this is their 2nd album, which was released on last July.
Some reviews:
- AMG: Tired of lamenting the split from a significant other locked in a dark room with Bright Eyes on repeat? Ready to turn that pain into a joyous singalong outside under the bright sun? Lucky for you, Arizona's the Format -- barely appearing phased at being dropped by Atlantic in 2005 -- have arrived with their self-released sophomore full-length, Dog Problems. Sure the album is mostly about singer Nate Ruess' most recent breakup and subsequent broken heart, but seriously, it's hands-down the feel-good album of the summer.
-RS: With its cheery vocal harmonies, an irrepressibly rhythmic bounce and lavish instrumentation that incorporates everything from violins and vibraphone to hand claps and horns, the Phoenix band's second full-length brings sounds more like Squeeze than Taking Back Sunday.
Absolutepunk.net: The Format have returned with their sophomore full-length in a way that only the literal sound of trumpets can announce. Dog Problems sits as a testament to hard work, blood, sweat, tears, and an unwavering concept that the band carries through to the last note.
Now, enough with the hype and i hope you enjoy...

I mean damn, track 7 and 8 are about as pop as you get. I sing along Monkeeys-style I don't hit skip either, it just flows right along. Nice pick.
there is no question I will check out their first disc when I get the chance. I do need a metal fix.
My favorite tracks are #8, #4 and #9. Song #6 sounds a bit like Rufus Wainwright.
