pearl jam depression

Is anyone else depressed that PJ might not be around for another 2 years? or longer? I know I just seen them and there are other people who haven't seen pj in years. I am just going through a massive downfall. Before the shows I was so hyped and the anticipation grew and grew.... then the shows the ultimate high...................but now all is gone and knowing it may be a few years before they come back around just depresses me. Yes, Ed, is going to tour and I might do not haven't decided yet....but damn I feel so sad. Is this just me or is anyone else really going through this?

    Um...completely the opposite.

    Just saw them 5 times (amazing)

    a month away from seeing Eddie solo (can't wait)

    A new album with Brendan O'Brien is already in the works.

    Which also means a tour to support a new album. It doesn't get any better than right now IMO.

    yea relax dude o'brien is known for making albums in a few weeks id say we could have it in november around the american election time.

    I think you are still in the comedown from this recent "tour" ...and yes I go through it as well. I was a mess last week. A quick way to bounce back a little is to get out some of your bootlegs, recent ones if you have em, and listen to them while you work or whetever...it's kind of like a methadone treatment, doesn't quite get you high..but keeps you from getting sick.

    Don't worry my friend they will be back soon enough with NEW shit! Feel lucky that we were able to get them this time around...I had conceded that we weren't going to see them again (since 2006) until next record comes out...so I feel very lucky to have seen two shows in '08. Try the bootleg thing, it helps.

    I hope you guys are right.....maybe a new ALIVE AT THE GARDEN DVD PT 2 would be cool. I hope the album is done quickly and there is a tour in 09.

    Nah, they seem to be doing shows every year in NA. In Australia there was a 5 year drought between '98 and '03, it was rough, but since moving to NA, I've seen them 6 times in 4.5 years (and would have gone to more if finances hadn't prevented it), so I'm not complaining ;) Looking forward to seeing Ed next month! YAY!

    Bring on the new album and another tour. Woot! :D

    My only PJ depression is because I could not get tickets to see EV... But I am sure that PJ will tour again next year.

    i was cranky for the past week or so..........

    I ordered my boots and am now just waiting. Can't wait to pop in Tampa and then just get f'n drunk and relive the glory of it.

    couldn't agree more...saw 'em 4 times, prolly 3 of the best 5 shows the entire tour, seeing eddie solo a month from today, and looking forward to the BoB album in 2009
