Im sorry guys but......

My Morning Jacket is the greatest live band right now. isaw them for the tenth time last night in Knoxville and it was the greatest show ive ever seen, better than their 3 hour Bonnaroo show that i saw. The energy these guys bring was the most beautiful thing ive ever witnessed. You can tell they learned a lot from Pearl Jam cause they are really mixing up their sets and are now playing for over two hours. Im seeing them again tomorrow night in Atlanta so hopefully it will be just as good.

    I havent stopped listening to their new live cd since I got it. Going to buy the DVD tonight. These guys seem to really put it all on the line every night. Have a great time in Atlanta. (Gonna try to catch em days after Thanksgiving.)

    I was at the show last night also, and I kept thinking holy fuck this band is on fire!!!!! They are just sooo good live right now. I don`t even think that the live cd does them justice ...... they are amazing I can`t wait to see them again

    not gonna argue with ya there, they've immediately become equals with radiohead and pearl jam when it comes to live performances.

    yeah My Morning Jacket are fucking Incredible, they seriously have became one of my favorite bands in about a year. i cant stop listenign to them, Okonokos is amazing, its been in my stereo and ipod since september
    i seriously cant wait for Dec1st when they coem to Philly at the Electric Factory

    I'm sorry, but you're all being foolish. A band that plays the same songs note for note every night cannot qualify as the best live band, it just doesn't work that way.

    90% of Pearl Jam`s songs are the same every single night, whats the point? Black, Betterman, YL ... and a few others with tags. And they have had the same tags for years.

    I`ve been to over 30 PJ shows .... and 1 full MMJ show last night, and I`ve never been so amazed. To each his own though

    They are the best band in the world right now. Watching Okonokos as I type this. Its simply amazing. Awesome live, awesome records, awesome everything. These guys are the saviours of music. Man I love them.

    They are on par with Pearl Jam and Radiohead. So you're right, they're tied for best.

    Damn! I wish I could see them just once let alone 10 times! They just don't seem to come around this neck of the woods. Fucking great band that I will travel to see soon!
