A lot of buzz around this band in the early 2000's made me go check them out, I really only liked the "Mistakes and regrets" off thier first album, their next one was hit and miss....and now I do not really have a desire to follow thier career.

I have the album with realy morning stoner on it which i liked, but havent paid much attention to them in recent years.

Thinking back to it, was quite a good album, might put it on my ipod for tomorrow.
People say im paranoid. Well, they dont say it, but i know that's what they are thinking.

I've seen them live in Seattle's Showbox in May 2005. Great show! Lots of energy and decent songs.

    They really surprised me :)

great band. i love Source Tags & Codes and the EP that came out after that. Worlds Apart didn't thrill me though... first track was good.

...trail of dead rocks!! So far I think "Worlds Apart" is the best. But I know that most disagree with me on that.
The DVD that came with Worlds Apart is hilarious. Would really like to attend one of their parties......

    .

i saw them Live back in in 2005, and they were amazing. they had Two drummers on stage, and it was incredible. it added so much more sound. they would both play insync and then go off on different beats and it was mind blowing

You should try and find their live cover of Cortez the Killer. It's 15-20 minutes long and it's amazing.

I enjoyed all of their music up to ST&C but i haven't heard much since. Sadly and admittably, i listened to reviews instead actually listening to the records and drawing my own conclusions (so ashamed of myself....heh heh)

Source Tags & Code is one of the best straight-up rock albums of the decade, it is really great and never lets up. I didn't like Worlds Apart as much, although it had a few moments and I think So Divided is even worse. I'm not sure why they have been trying to get away from the sound they had on Source Tags, they were excellent as a true rock band, the pop sound they have slowly been adding doesn't work as well. Still a good band, I will continue to look forward to their new releases.
  • trail of dead is like this \m/ but I can't find their first self titled album anywhere locally and im scared of buying it online. I looked to see if it was avaialbe to download to no avail ARGH. Trail of Dead only has one bad release that EP, but its not that bad.

PS every Jason Reece song kicks major ass

this band has one of the coolest names i've ever heard for any band. can anyone suggest a few "must listen" tunes?

Anything from the album Source Tags & Code. The entire album is a must listen IMO. I thikn "How Near, How Far" and "Relative Ways" are my favorites from the album if you want specific tracks, but find just about anything on that album.
