So I went and saw STP in Dallas (thats right! some rock bands DO play in Texas and it was SOLD OUT) anyway...it was an amazing show! I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was actually. Since they had been on a break for so long I figured the show would be good but probably not great...boy was I wrong. The stage show with the lights, smoke and graphics was top notch (very Tool like at times) and Scott's voice was amazing as was the band's playing. If you get a chance to go see them GO!

    Anyboyd who questioned Scotts live voice or performance is a fool. Yes any singer can have an off night. But Weiland is one of the best out there today.

    awesome! The setlist in Dallas was really really heavy...wasn't any slow stuff played all night. They pretty much played all of core and purple which was great.

    Going to see them in Orlando and Hollywood Fla. Gonna bring Scott's mega phone with me that Matt Sorum threw me at a VR performance in West Palm to see if he wants it back....

    fucking love the set at the moment, i hope they come play here in Europe.

    I think they sound weird on cd but great live.

    I saw them in May in Camden....it was I think the 2nd show of the tour and they were amazing! Scott looked great and the crowd was insane!

    They did pretty much everything.....I get to see them in AC in August.

    I like stp ... really I do ... but, man, I hate the whole "playing dress-up" thing that Scott does.

    He was a cool motherfucker back in 1995 or so. Now, he's just a freakshow.

    Just got back from the kickass show, they sounded excellent, Scott sounded excellent. I must say I was impressed.

    I would have liked to have heard those as well at the Dallas show. I was REALLY hoping for them to play the song "Atlanta" but no dice...

    I was at summerfest too, awesome show! I'm trying to find the setlist somewhere but their forums seem kind of worthless, anyone know a good resource?

    "An off night"...that's a lovely and discreet way of saying too fucked up to perform properly.

    I'm seeing their shows in San Diego and in New York and sincerely hope they last through the tour because they were a good band that I never got to see the first time round. I like them but I'm not blind to the faults. Dude's got demons and I hope he beats them down.
