Well he does guest vocals on one track. Again Lanegan does something a little different then usual.

I heard this a while ago and liked it!

I've seen Mark live with many different 'projects' the Soulsavers was my favourite. I lose breath just thinking about it, absolutely beautiful and such a small venue with great sound. I'm so excited about the new album but I'm desperate for another solo album too.....I'm greedy

According to the Soulsaver's Myspace page it's goin to be a double album with 2 main vocalists. I wonder who the 2nd is gonna be?

Someone should send this to Chris Cornell, to teach him how it's done right!

And I can't wait for another Soulsavers album! I love the 1st one!

And ironically Cornell produced a Trees album back when he didn't have his head up Timbaland's ass.

Anyway, can't go wrong with anything Lanegan does. This is great

I heard of the double disc Soulsavers album but hadn't seen anything that confirmed Lanegan was a part of it. I hope that's true.

Absolutely, Cornell needs to realise that you can experiment without whoring your soul. Lanegan hits yet another fucking bullseye. This is the difference between having a quiet confidence in your abilities, and thinking you are the best thing since sliced bread.

So this is no where near a confirmation but its something. There was a guy on the One Whiskey board that said he met Mark after a GT show. He said Mark said he is one of the vocalist on the album AND they would be touring to support it :)
  • Haha that is awesome, I used to have the first ever Bomb the Bass album, Into the Dragon on vinyl, got it when it came out back in '88 when I were a wee whipper snapper, how musical tastes come full circle to bite you in the arse haha.
Can not be arsed with life no more.

Slightly off topic but has anybody heard Marks' contribution to the Creature with the Atom Brains album - I am the Golden Gate Bridge? I'd heartily recommend it, really good stuff.

Yeah its good but i haven't got the album yet.

As for confirmation of Lanegan doin' another Soulsavers album Greg Dulli mentioned it in an interview somewhere. He also said his next project is another Twilight Singers album. Happy Times.

I'm really glad he is spoiling us with all the collaborations but I am ready for a new solo album. Preferably with Mike Johnson!
