Time to talk TISM!

Anybody else out there a fan of these guys?
I love em, have a few of their albums and saw them at BDO a few years back and they were awesome. But they're a bit mysterious yes? Has anybody got the skinny on who they are? Aside from growing up around Springvale, or being teachers in Springvale, not sure if that's true, just something I remember hearing.

    yes they are! but it might be becos with all the acronyms i don't have any clue who you're talking about ;)

    Oh, well they call themselves TISM but I believe it was originally meant to mean This Is Serious Mum. :) (Bit like ABBA has always been ABBA ;) )

    Melbourne band. Never reveal their faces. Apparently because some of them have white collar, staid and sensible jobs. I believe they met and formed at uni but not much else known. :)

    Been around FOREVER!! :D

    ooh edit: and sorry ss, BDO is short for Big Day Out a huge touring music festival we have here every year around Australia Day in January. :)

    I googled TISM to see if I could find out anything and the first page was all their playful little websites that yielded nothing! If you wanna kill 10 minutes and get a feel for the crazy brilliance of these guys, try googling it and see for your self! :D
