You think Evanescence is worth seeing live?

They are playing in my area in a couple days, literally right around the corner from my apartment. I cant decide if I wanna spend 40 bucks to go or not, I've only heard the stuff they have on the radio but I like that.

Any of you seen them in concert? if so you think its worth it?

    Haven't seen them, but my guess is that $40 would be better used elsewhere.

    oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

    My friends sister saw them and she was a big fan. She came back upset saying they played to a back track.... I can't confirm it but maybe they do. Big selling bands/groups have millions of fans and alot of those fans want to hear what they hear on the cd and not a live sound so they use backing tracks.. who knows. I personally wouldn't waste my money on them.

    I saw one gig from tv, it was ok IMO. I you like their songs and have extra 40 bucks then why not. :)
