Smashing Pumpkins 4 CHICAGO shows!

my buddy just told me about these yesterday... bout time they come to their home town! as i understand it the 2 nights at the auditorium will be the same setup at the 2 nights at the chicago theater... 1 acoustic and 1 rocking... 2 of the nicest venues in the country for sure! i think im gonna go for the friday and saturday shows... who else is PUMPED for this?!?

this was announced earlier this week, everything but the acoustic/rocking thing. they did say that no songs would be repeated in the cities getting 2 shows.

I plan on hitting one or two shows in Chicago.

I don't think this has been confirmed. The two shows will be different setlist-wise, but I don't think it's a given one is acoustic and the other electric.

I thought I would post up some additional info to make sure that there was absolute clarity about what shows would be going on where-when.

First off, the 2 night format is about playing the most songs over 2 nights that would hopefully create very distinct shows from one another. No song will be repeated means exactly as it sounds, if you go to show #1 of a 2 night stand (black sunshine!), you wouldn't hear anything on night # 2 (white crosses) that you heard song-wise on the first night.

No mention of acoustic/electric plans, so don't assume that will be the case.

my friend mustve misinterpretted the black/white thing as rock/acoustic... sorry for the misinformation... im pumped either way!
