its incredible how famous they were able to become without having to tour... entirely different music industry back then... makes ya wonder though if they were really all that... todays bands dont have a chance of lasting as long as the beatles because they bust their asses going around the world on tour... too much together time and too much physical strain on their voices and bodies... their music is still untouchable by any band though

    Was that Eric Avery's band?
  • Was that Eric Avery's band?

    Indeed.

He and Dave Navarro did 1 album after Jane's Addiction ended in 1991.

    Never did a single show.

    and it's a shame because it's brilliant.

That's what I thought. To me, Eriv Avery WAS Jane's Addiction. I wouldn't listen to a single thing they did after he left. There's talk of them all getting back together now though. That would be great...

Who Are You - The Who
Attention Dimension - Jack Irons (that would have been awesome if all participants were involved in a tour)

    what?

they toured the entire country. smaller out-of-the-way venues, but a tour none the less.

    Temple of the Dog

They had something like 3 or 4 shows total, with most of the shows coming as appearances when SG and PJ were on tour together, a la Lollapalooza.

There never was a tour in support of that great record though.
