New Beck song "Chemtrails" at beck.com

Hey everyone. There's a new Beck song up at his website...it's on the new album "Modern Guilt" (although apparently it's not the single), and the album's produced by Danger Mouse. Only thing is, the song gets cut off early. What you have to do is bring up the radio in the top left and watch the bar playing the song. As long as you never let the bar get to the end, it will play the whole song.

As usual, it sounds pretty different for Beck. The 60s sound they were mentioning in interviews sounds pretty spot on.

Just listened to it. Love Beck. The song? Pretty awful, in my opinion. The Information was just ok, and it looks as though this one might disappoint me as well.

Still love Beck though! I think he thinks too much. Him with a guitar, which, I read in Rolling Stone, is how he wrote all of these songs, then stripped them all away and wrote over the drum beat, is the way he needs to go. Don't mess with a good thing.

Again, just my opinion. I respect all of yours. Also, thanks for the heads up on the tune, I have been very curious to hear some from the new cd.

I really like the song, but then again I think The Information is one of his best and certainly his most underrated album. I did not like the vocals at first, but after a few listens it got me. However, I'll defend The Information forever...I have no idea why so many Beck fans dislike that album so much.

Good song..spacey, atmospheric, different in way from past songs..this means we should wait for another chameleonic release? Everyone is free to have divergent opinions, i respect that, in my opinion both The Information and Sea Change (one of my favs) are great cds, but it really surprises me to read how so many people consider them "flat" albums.
