and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. tight musicianship, his voice sounds perfect live (just like the albums), and I laughed my ass off the whole time. costumes, videos, everything you'd expect and then some. and Al really works his ass off up there. great fucking show. check him out if you can

    that's cool man. I hope to check out a show of his someday. I've kind of grown apart from him musically, but would still love to see him live. I heard he meets fans after the shows. Does he still do this?

    don't worry if you've grown apart from him. He played several songs that I've never heard before and they were all really good. and he does most if not all of his hits (Dare to be Stupid and Like a Surgeon were the only Al classics absent from the setlist). I'm not sure about meet and greets.....I left right after the show. I wouldn't be surprised though.

    Yeah I saw him a couple years ago and it was a fantastic show. I highly recommend seeing him if you get the opportunity.

    Weird Al shows are always worth the money. If you don't have fun at an Al show then you have to be clinically depressed or a douchebag.

    the last time i saw him, he made it snow outside in july. great live show.
  • I saw Al back in 95, it was a really good show. He is playing in Champaign in September, I'm still trying to decide if I should see him again.
