Global TV is reporting Chad Kroeger and a friend were at a strip club where police were doing routine inspections Saturday.
Words were exchanged when Kroeger was allegedly blocking cops.
He and his friend were handcuffed for a time.
Neither of the men were charged in the incident.
Kroeger is awaiting trial on an impaired driving charge in Surrey from last June.
