What are the most hard, heavy, or intense NIN songs? I need some good intense shit to work out to.

See The Downward Spiral. Particularly Mr. Self Destruct, Heresy, Eraser. Broken might be quite good for that aswell, what with Wish, Happiness In Slavery etc being on there. Oh, and Burn aswell.
As far as intense goes...I find most of Trent's work to be pretty intense. Try some of The Fragile, such as We're In This Together, No You Don't, The Wretched and The Great Below.~AKA Dave-of-the-dead~

nine inch nails is great for working out to. i usually go with pretty hate machine or broken, sometimes the downward spiral.0

there's not much that mr reznor has written and recorded that isn't intense in one way or another. even the quieter stuff is very intense. hurt gets me every time. and live the songs get even more intense. i had the pleasure to witness nin back in march at the brixton academy where they opened with six of the first seven songs from the downward spiral - amazing!0
